The Akoustic Junkies have officially been formed in a jam session with some friends.
The name was chosen in order to emphasize the musical style in acoustic format.

The official presentation of the band was made in a very special date (10/22/2012), live from the studio of Antena 3 in Madeira Island, assembled in downtown Funchal, in the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the RDP-Madeira.
